Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS)
Surround View and Transparent Chassis System
Surround View and Transparent Chassis System
With images captured by four cameras, installed in the front, back, left, and right sides of a vehicle, the system utilizes various image processing technologies to produce a 2D helicopter image, a 3D image from an alternative angle, and a see-through view under the chassis. The images are displayed on the navigation screen to allow drivers to be aware of objects surrounding and under the vehicle and to keep away from collision.
Free Space Detection and Parking Grid Detection System
Free Space Detection and Parking Grid Detection System
With deep-learning technologies and images captured by four cameras installed around the vehicle, the system can detect free space and the parking grid, calculate the size of the parking space, and combine the vehicle’s driving data to give references for controlling the wheel, throttle, and brake. The system thus serves a key support to the auto parking function.
Moving Object Detection (MOD) System
Moving Object Detection (MOD) System
By using cameras installed outside the vehicle, the system can detect moving objects within a distance of two to five meters, and alert the driver via indicator light, sound, or vibration.
Open Door Alert (ODA) System
Open Door Alert (ODA) System
By using deep-learning technologies and cameras installed on the wing mirrors, the system can detect other vehicles (cars or motorcycles) that are moving towards the vehicle and within the alert area (within a distance of two meters from the vehicle and 20 meters from the camera) in the left- and right-hand sides of the vehicle, and alert the driver. This function only works when the car is not moving.
Blind Spot Detection (BSD) System
Blind Spot Detection (BSD) System
By using deep-learning technologies and cameras installed on the wing mirrors, the system can detect other vehicles (cars or motorcycles) that are moving towards the vehicle and within the alert area (within a distance of three meters from the vehicle and 15 meters from the camera) in the left- and right-hand sides of the vehicle, and alert the driver. This function only works when the speed of the relative speed of the car is within 100 km/hr.
Lane Departure Warning (LDW) System
Lane Departure Warning (LDW) System
By using deep-learning technologies and cameras installed on the windshield, the system can automatically identify and track lane lines. When the speed of the vehicle exceeds 60 km/hour, and the vehicle moves out of its lane without a turn signal on in that direction, the system will automatically issue alerts (indicator light, sound or vibration).
Forward Collision Warning (FCW) System
Forward Collision Warning (FCW) System
By using cameras installed on the windshield and deep-learning technologies, the system can automatically identify and track the vehicle in the front, calculate the distance from the car and the relative velocity, and alert the driver via indicator light, sound, or vibration, when the estimated time-to-collision (TTC) is under 2.7 seconds.
Driving Recorder
Driving Recorder
The system can store driving data and images captured by cameras installed around the vehicle for a later reference. The information stored in the dashboard camera is often used to prove liability in an accident.
